Discount Glass Wedding Favor!

Thursday, June 18th, 2009

I was a little worried that we wouldn’t be able to afford the kind of wedding we wanted to have. The bills can really pile up when you’re planning a wedding and reception. There is the caterers to pay, the photographer, the bridal shop and then hiring a band or a DJ for the reception. This can really become overwhelming for a couple just starting out on their life together. I wasn’t sure if we would have enough money left to pay for the reception accessories, even though we already reserved the hall. Thank goodness a friend of mine told me about an online bridal store that has great savings on accessories and reception supplies. There were even decorations at an affordable price. I didn’t have to worry about thank you gifts for our guests, they had the most beautiful discount glass wedding favors that worked out perfectly. Not only did they have gorgeous glass favors, but crystal favors too. Finding the right gifts was no problem. Neither were my accessories.

I bought all the essentials for our ceremony like a gorgeous five piece wedding ensemble which included the flower basket, ring pillow, guestbook, a stunning pen set and even a matching leg garter, for a very money saving price. I picked out some hair accessories, too, such as a pretty wedding comb and a bridal tiara, and there were more than enough options to pick from. The items I bought for the reception dinner were all ordered over the net; all I had to do was sit and wait for them to show up at my door. Talk about saving from aggravation – and saving money, too, actually, since I got some great deals. There was an exact replica of my man and I, only a several inches high, that was custom-made for us for our wedding cake topper. That may be my favorite souvenier from the entire day, and it looked so cool. We got champagne glasses and cake serving utensils with crystal handles that had the words bride and groom embossed on them, and they were just gorgeous. I even ordered some champagne glass wedding favors as extra gifts for our friends and family. Each of the women at our wedding got crystal wedding favors, and each of the men who were our guests got shot glass wedding favors. The women got a perfume bottle made of crystal on a key chain that can be easily carried around with them so that they can always freshen up and smell nice no matter where they went. I thought that was a really neat idea. They arrive in small silver containers with matching hang tags and a bow. The place card holders for the reception were attractive and unusual as well. The cards went right in the middle of a cluster of glass grapes that held them in place. The reception tables shimmered because of them.
The glass favors they have, I discovered as I browsed through their inventory, aren’t just for weddings. Like baby showers and wedding shower parties. There were baby carriages and baby socks and so forth that were really cute. I will have the hostess check out this website when I ultimately have the baby shower that I anticipate having some day. I know I found all I needed and like I said before there were a lot of items that I was able to obtain at a discount. Not having to spend those few extra bucks can be very important when you’re first married.

Exquisite Heart Favor!

What could be more romantic than a wedding held in the month of Februrary? Putting the symbol of love all around our wedding day struck me as a wonderful way to celebrate marriage. The first thing I bought was a gorgeous bridal tiara that I picked out over the Internet. The invitations I selected were just one of many supplies that I needed to buy for the wedding theme. I mailed out small cards that had two silver-colored hearts on the front of them for our invitations. It was really elegant looking and the inside was preprinted, so all I had to do was fill in the blanks with all the necessary information of who, when and where.
Inviting people, of course, was just the first phase, so I went right from that onto setting up the overall look and feel of the wedding, and then gathering together the supplies and accessories to make it work. I bought large scarlet bows made of velvet to put on the church pews with a ribbon that would run from one pew to the next. The unity candle we used had a design of tiny roses put together to form a heart shape on the front of it, and the rest of the candle decorations made the altar look exquisite. There were also red and pink roses to help with the décor of the wedding site and red and white roses in my bridal bouquet. We had doves let out of cages as my groom and I departed from the church building, and it was one extra touch that I thought was just majestic.
The hearts wedding ceremony was fantastic and while riding in the limo I prayed that all would go just as well at our reception. I had nothing to worry about because when we arrived and I took one look at the reception hall and all the gorgeous heart wedding decorations that were arranged, I knew this would be a night that would long be remembered. Every accessory on the tables seemed to compliment each other. Even the beautiful heart favor we picked out, added to the ambiance of the whole evening and the shimmer of our lovely reception tables.

For our wedding reception I had centerpieces made up of red, white and pink roses with little valentine hearts arranged in with the flowers. I got a place card holder that was the prettiest I had ever seen for each place setting, and two hearts wedding candles that made it feel like love was in the air. The wedding favors we got our guests should be a terrific souvenir from our wedding; they had handles in the shape of a heart attached to tiny silver bells. Every layer of our wedding cake was adorned with small red and pink roses, and the bottom section had tiny hearts running all the way around it. There was a porcelain wedding cake topper, colored white, that fit in with our hearts wedding cake and the rest of our cake adornments beautifully.
Our entire wedding day called to mind love and Valentine’s Day, filled with flowers and hearts galore. I feel fortunate that I was able to use the Internet to the extent that I did because it made everything much more efficient.

Bridal Fashion and Accessories!

I started looking for all the accessories and supplies I needed for our wedding day, just as soon as we set the date. Since I love to shop online, I decided that was as good a place to start as any. With all the great accessories and reception supplies I found online, it was easy to find what I needed for our wedding. Starting with the beautiful invitations I chose, and finishing with the super wedding favors for our friends and family.
We had no problem choosing the theme we wanted for our wedding and reception, it had to be a beach theme. Our friends and us have spent many days on the beach, since we were kids, growing up here and it seemed like the perfect place for our wedding.
So the first thing I did was to order the beach themed wedding invitations and get them in the mail as soon as possible. Everyone answered with a definite yes, and everyone seemed really excited about sharing this day with us. With that out of the way it was time to start looking for all of my wedding supplies I would need. Shopping online has almost become a hobby for me, but even I couldn’t believe what a wonderful selection they had to offer. I ordered the most beautiful tiara and hair comb from there. Not only did I find exactly what I needed for my hair, but my wedding jewelry too. I looked at all the jewelry and found the necklace and earring set I wanted to wear with my wedding dress. It had little pearls and crystals entertwined and gave such a luxurious sparkle to my ensemble.
There was so much in the way of wedding accessories that was absolutely exquisite and the best part was, it wasn’t all that expensive. I also bought a few items I can use while on our honeymoon. Even though we were getting married on the beach, I insisted on a floor length wedding dress. My bridesmaids wore a light weight satin dress for my wedding and so did my little flower girl. They all looked so lovely in their wedding attire.
There were tiki torches and those little white christmas lights everywhere and a dance floor my fiance had fixed there. The reception tables had been decorated in an oceanside motif and the little sailboat place card holders was a great addition. As wedding favors I wanted to give them something special from the seaside collection, so I chose the beach themed photo frames for each of them. I think they all liked the frames as much as I did. On the bride and groom table were our toasting flutes, lovely candles in their beach theme holders and lots of lovely tealights. Everything at our wedding reception came with a beach theme décor, including our fantastic wedding cake topper. We had a cake topper of a young couple holding each other as they walked along the beach. As far as our wedding food went, there was so much seafood, like lobsters, crab and shrimp and we also had plenty of chicken and steaks for the non seafood eaters. We all had a wonderful time enjoying good food and good music to dance too. It was a little sad when we had to leave for our honeymoon and everyone was still partying it up.
Thanks to all the fantastic bridal accessories I found online my wedding ensemble was the tops in bridal fashion and my bridal hair accessories really complimented my gorgeous wedding gown. I’m so glad I decided to browse the web for wedding supplies. I even bought our thank you cards from there, which I started filling out just as soon as we returned from our honeymoon. Whenever I feel like reliving our special day, I can take out our beautiful beach themed wedding album and look at all the memories we captured on film.
