Our wedding invitations were shipped to our relatives and different loved ones as soon as I had them picked out. Linen beach dresses with a crocheted halter covering was what I chose for my bridesmaids. My fiance’s wedding attire consisted of a blue shirt and white pants made of linen, and his groomsmen were also dressed in linen, with white shirts and sandy colored pants. The little sundress our flower girl wore looked so adorable on her and our ring boy looked so cute in his little khaki shorts and white shirt. Everyone in the wedding party looked fantastic and the bouquets were absolutely the most beautiful arrangements I could have found.

With all the pictures I wanted taken of our wedding ceremony and reception, maybe I should have bought two leather wedding albums. I planned to have pictures of all the fantastic decorations at our wedding and reception and photos of every guest that attended. Pictures of our satin canopy and flowered arch where we stood to take our vows was a definite must. Directly after the ceremony we left to change into more suitable beach wear for the reception party. Some of the bridesmaids and groomsmen wore their swim wear under their wedding clothes, and some went home to change. I wrote on all the invitations to dress in casual clothing for this wedding.

We picked January for the wedding day since I have always wanted a wedding that had a winter motif. There are so many beautiful accessories and reception supplies to make the perfect wintery wedding dream come true. The guys that stood up in our wedding all got digital clocks, with the best man got his own mug and pen set. I think everyone was really happy with the thank you favors they received and I think they all had a great time at the reception.

A quaint little country church was the location of the wedding ceremony. The little ring boy was adorable in his little tux, and the groomsmen were very handsome in theirs, with the white boutonnieres in the lapels. But the real attraction was the beautiful bride and her elegant groom. They made such a handsome couple. A horse drawn buggy awaited to take the bride and groom to the reception.
The couple were having their reception at the country house they had bought a couple of months before. It was a lovely home with a couple of acres and a barn for their horses they planned on having. What a wonderful place to start a new life together, it’s perfect.
She did a fantastic job arranging her reception. Everything was fantastic. All the tables had red and white checkered table cloths, with little metal buckets of wildflowers in them. She did a fantastic job, not just with the décor, but also the themed favors. White christmas lights mixed in with a few lanterns completely encircled the picnic tables. The corn stalks and bales of hay really made this the perfect picture of a down home reception. There were so much set up for adults and kids to enjoy. Some of the kids were bobbing for apples while others were into a wild game of horse shoes, and still others were trying their hand at line dancing. Everyone was having the time of their lives.
The wedding cake was spectacular and the wedding topper had us all in stitches. It was the perfect themed cake topper. The western themed champagne flutes were really unique. And on each and every table she had little cowboy hats that were used as place card holders. Everyone thought they were so cute.
The food they chose for the reception was unbelievable. Since they did a lot of grilling, we had our choice of steaks, ribs, and chicken, plus all kinds of salads and vegetables. There was more than enough to eat. It was a great reception, plenty to eat, great tunes to dance to and games to keep the kids happy for hours. The country western theme was a blast.
Another fun reception is a beach party reception. A beach wedding ceremony is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. You can feel the romance in the air as the sun sets on the horizon. With the feel of warm breezes and the sounds of the water, you can feel the romance in the air. If I ever get married, I think this is the type of ceremony and reception I would want to have.

She had a wonderful idea for centerpieces, with seashells, starfish and orchids surrounding two large white candles in a tray of sand. Her crystal champagne glasses had beach themed stems and her place card holders were little seashells.
Her beach décor was fabulous and she had everything from a beach cake topper to theme wedding cakes that worked perfectly. This was one of the most memorable weddings I’ve ever attended.

The couple had purchased a nice little ranch outside of town and that’s where they decided to have their reception. This was a prime piece of property, with a nice house, a barn and two acres of land. I would have loved to have started my married life out in a place like this.
You could tell she put a lot of effort into planning this reception. It was absolutely perfect. Each checkered tablecloth had centerpieces of wild flowers in little metal buckets. She did a fantastic job, not just with the décor, but also the wedding themes. White christmas lights mixed in with a few lanterns completely encircled the picnic tables. With the décor consisting of hay bales and corn stalks on the barn doors, this really gave the perfect appearance of a country reception. They made sure there were plenty of things the kids would enjoy as well as the adults. There were horse shoes, bobbing for apples, and barn dancing. It was great fun for everyone.
Their country western wedding cake topper was very comical and the cake itself was a masterpiece of confection. The cutest cake topper I’ve ever seen. The western themed champagne flutes were really unique. And she made place card holders out of these little cowboy hats. Everyone thought they were so cute.
There was plenty of delicious foods for everyone at the party. They grilled hot dogs and hamburgers, mostly for the kids, and steaks, ribs, and chicken for the adults, with choice of salads and vegetables. It was one heck of a cookout. It was a great reception, plenty to eat, great tunes to dance to and games to keep the kids happy for hours. The country western theme was a blast.

It was a lot easier than I thought it would be to plan my outside wedding and reception. It turns out that it was a lot cheaper in cost than it would have been to have an indoor wedding. Since we had the flowers and mother nature everywhere, I didn’t have to spend a lot of money on decorations. The first thing on my agenda was to find that perfect place to hold our summer wedding and reception party. I thought about a super beach wedding and reception, or maybe have it in a gorgeous garden, but I decided to have our ceremony and reception in the park. I found several perfect parks that would work fine for our wedding day.

I wasn’t really sure where to start, so I shopped around for some much needed suggestions. I found out you need to have a plan B, in case inclement weather unexpectly arises. A tent was suggested just in case the weather turns out badly.

Plan “A” was setting up a gorgeous trellis for our ceremony to be performed under and canopies for the reception. I only had to get decorations for my bridal table and the reception tables for our friends and family. With the park as our main theme, I basically had to make sure I had our table settings and maybe throw in a few extra bouquets of flowers. By using artificial flowers I thought we may be able to avoid any univited guests, like bees. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and didn’t look artificial at all. Planning this wedding wasn’t all that hard, but there was a little more than I expected. There are some spectacular summer wedding themes, but the sun can turn your beautiful wedding cake into a gooey pool of confection.

There was a variety of accessories available for the outdoor reception. Each of our guest had a park bench place card holder and the centerpieces were flowers arranged around a glass globe with citronella votive candles inside. For each of our guests there were beautiful chrome bottle openers in lovely designed favor boxes, as a summer wedding invitation. For our wedding table, of course, was our fabulous wedding cake with a very unique wedding cake topper.

While shopping for my wedding accessories I saw this topper and couldn’t resist it. They were customized toppers for the wedding couple. After I sent them a head shot of my fiance and myself they made our bride and groom topper to look exactly like us. Talk about the best wedding keepsake you can get. Our friends and family were really loved the cake topper and gave us a lot of compliments on it. Everything at the wedding and reception were fantastic. Plan B never had to be used, since the weather was so beautiful, and thankfully it remained that way through the whole evening. The DJ we hired was really exceptional and I’m sure that the music played on long after my new husband and I left for our honeymoon. Everyone commented on what a lovely ceremony and super reception we had. I’m so glad I decided to go with a wedding in the park. If we should decide somewhere down the line to have a renewal wedding ceremony, I think I’d like to have it in the park again.

Out of everything I bought, I loved my cake topper the most. I think I liked the topper better than I did the cake itself. The butterfly with the beautiful satin bow really made an exquisite wedding cake topper.

Our mom gave her the idea of going online to find everything she needed for my bridal shower she was throwing for me, just like she did for me with my wedding supplies.

My sister is going to have a baby in a few months and I’m throwing her a baby shower, guess where I’m getting all of my shower supplies? I already know what supplies and favors I want to order, but I have to do that until some time next week. By that time I’ll know if she is having a boy or a girl. Then I can order the favors in pink or blue, even though there are other neutral colors I could choose.

I want to thank my mom for pointing me towards this easy way to shop, it saved me a lot of time and money. I also want to thank her for helping with the reception arrangements and filling out all those thank you cards. I couldn’t have done it without you, mom. Maybe I can use this online shopping thing for our future anniversary parties. There are great little suggestions for anniversaries, even decorations, cake toppers and little thank you gifts. I saw a lot of lovely ideas for my mom and dad’s 30th wedding anniversary. My sister and I should get together and discuss it. Their 30th isn’t that far away, no use waiting until the last minute.

Our cake topper was so beautiful it almost out shined our wedding cake. The butterfly with the beautiful satin bow really made an exquisite wedding cake topper.

Our wedding décor and wedding favors seemed to make quite an impression. Some of the guests came up and thanked me for their gifts and told me how beautiful they were. What I really liked about this place I shopped was the fact they have more than just cake toppers and a ring bearer pillow. There were all kinds of supplies and great ideas for birthdays, wedding showers, baby showers, and girls night out parties too. I didn’t know it at the time, but I found out that’s where my sister got all of her party supplies and party favors for my bridal shower she threw for me. She said mom had told her about it too.

My sister is going to have a baby in a few months and I’m throwing her a baby shower, guess where I’m getting all of my shower supplies? I’ve already been checking out some of the party favors, but I’m waiting until next week to order them. That’s when she finds out if she is having a girl or boy. I could go ahead and order everything in a non-gender color, but I’d really prefer to have a pink décor or a blue décor, with maybe an it’s a girl or it’s a boy banner.

My mother’s suggestion on shopping by computer really helped out a lot in terms of time and money. I also want to thank her for helping with the reception arrangements and filling out all those thank you cards. I couldn’t have done it without you, mom. Maybe I can use this online shopping thing for our future anniversary parties. There are great little suggestions for anniversaries, even decorations, cake toppers and little thank you gifts. I saw a lot of lovely ideas for my mom and dad’s 30th wedding anniversary. Me and my sister should look at the possibilities together. It won’t be long before they are celebrating their anniversary, we might as well get an early start on planning.
