Exquisite Heart Favor!

What could be more romantic than a wedding held in the month of Februrary? Putting the symbol of love all around our wedding day struck me as a wonderful way to celebrate marriage. The first thing I bought was a gorgeous bridal tiara that I picked out over the Internet. The invitations I selected were just one of many supplies that I needed to buy for the wedding theme. I mailed out small cards that had two silver-colored hearts on the front of them for our invitations. It was really elegant looking and the inside was preprinted, so all I had to do was fill in the blanks with all the necessary information of who, when and where.
Inviting people, of course, was just the first phase, so I went right from that onto setting up the overall look and feel of the wedding, and then gathering together the supplies and accessories to make it work. I bought large scarlet bows made of velvet to put on the church pews with a ribbon that would run from one pew to the next. The unity candle we used had a design of tiny roses put together to form a heart shape on the front of it, and the rest of the candle decorations made the altar look exquisite. There were also red and pink roses to help with the décor of the wedding site and red and white roses in my bridal bouquet. We had doves let out of cages as my groom and I departed from the church building, and it was one extra touch that I thought was just majestic.
The hearts wedding ceremony was fantastic and while riding in the limo I prayed that all would go just as well at our reception. I had nothing to worry about because when we arrived and I took one look at the reception hall and all the gorgeous heart wedding decorations that were arranged, I knew this would be a night that would long be remembered. Every accessory on the tables seemed to compliment each other. Even the beautiful heart favor we picked out, added to the ambiance of the whole evening and the shimmer of our lovely reception tables.

For our wedding reception I had centerpieces made up of red, white and pink roses with little valentine hearts arranged in with the flowers. I got a place card holder that was the prettiest I had ever seen for each place setting, and two hearts wedding candles that made it feel like love was in the air. The wedding favors we got our guests should be a terrific souvenir from our wedding; they had handles in the shape of a heart attached to tiny silver bells. Every layer of our wedding cake was adorned with small red and pink roses, and the bottom section had tiny hearts running all the way around it. There was a porcelain wedding cake topper, colored white, that fit in with our hearts wedding cake and the rest of our cake adornments beautifully.
Our entire wedding day called to mind love and Valentine’s Day, filled with flowers and hearts galore. I feel fortunate that I was able to use the Internet to the extent that I did because it made everything much more efficient.
